Abstract: 【Abstract】Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of permanent implantation of iodine 125 (I¹²⁵) seed combined with surgical operation，chemotherapy，interventional therapy，immunization therapy and endocrine therapy on the patients with advanced breast cancer. Methods Permanent implantation of I¹²⁵ seed combined with surgical operation，chemotherapy，interventional therapy，immunization therapy and endocrine therapy were performed on 95 cases of advanced breast cancer. The effective rate as well as the 1-，3- and 5-year survival rate were followed up. Results The effective rate was 96.84%. The 1-，3- and 5-year survival rate was 90.53%，61.05% and 46.32% respectively. 4 cases died from non-cancer，8 cases lost in follow-up. No associated complications were foundConclusion permanent implantation of I¹²⁵ seed is safe and effective for treating advanced breast cancer.
