Abstract:

Objective To understand the present situation and trends in the influence of Chinese core journals in oncology. Methods Nine Chinese core journals in oncology were compared using 9 bibliometric indicators in the Chinese S&T Journal Citation Reports（2009~2013，Suppl），and a dynamic model was used to evaluate their academic influence. Results Over the past 5 years， impact factors，total cites and academic influence of the nine journals increased，respectively，by 7.67%，28.88% and 34.46%. The proportion of papers reporting research funding gradually increased over the same period. Conclusion The nine journals have increased in academic influence over the study period，although at different rates.
